The Contemporary College of Homeopathy was founded in 1996. We train skilled, confident homeopaths through inspiring and in-depth education.
Choose Your Homeopathy Course
We currently run our courses as a combination of face-to-face and online teaching. Every other month we are based at Engineers' House in Bristol, with lectures taught in person, alternating with classes held live online. If you are based further afield or outside the UK, you are welcome to join the whole course via our online platform. With this new and flexible way of learning, our global community is continuing to grow.
We have a fantastic team working away in the background, providing technical support and ensuring the teaching is delivered as smoothly as possible.
We continue to hold Open Days for anyone interested in the courses on offer. You will be invited to attend lectures and meet students and staff either in person or via the web. All you need to do is let us know and we will give you the information you need.
We limit our class sizes to 16 students ensuring high quality learning, engagement with our staff and tutors, as well as essential hours taking cases in the student clinic if undertaking the Professional Training programme. Beginners Course
The perfect introduction to Homeopathy. Explore the core principles of homeopathic philosophy and learn how to use remedies confidently in everyday life. Topics include first-aid essentials, support for travel and seasonal complaints, and real-life case studies to bring your learning to life.
One Year Foundation Course
This course offers a solid grounding in the core philosophies and principles of homeopathy. You’ll study first-aid and acute remedies, as well as remedies for deeper constitutional and chronic prescribing, giving you the knowledge to begin applying homeopathy in a wide range of everyday situations.
Four Year Professional Training Course
Our part-time Professional Training Course is fully recognised by the Society of Homeopaths. This industry-standard qualification not only equips you with an in-depth understanding of homeopathic philosophy and practice but also provides the clinical training and professional skills needed to confidently set up in practice as a homeopath.
Orion Post Graduate Course
A five-month part-time programme for qualified practitioners, the Orion Course offers an in-depth exploration of case analysis, materia medica, and clinical practice. With small group learning and expert teaching, it’s designed to expand your skills and confidence as a homeopath.
Letter from our Principal
Thank you for showing an interest in our college. I wanted to write something personally about how the college came about. I have been practicing and teaching homeopathy for over thirty-five years. I became interested after reading a book about it. I was hooked and have been ever since. I have never lost my excitement for the subject. It is an extraordinary privilege to be able to listen to people’s stories, to have the tools to be able to work out exactly where they are stuck in their health, why they are sick and how to get them better.
